PROBLEM
As a company operating in the agriculture sector, we had the goal of minimizing the environmental impact of our products and producing in line with sustainability principles. However, to achieve this goal, we needed concrete and reliable data. Calculating product-based emissions (from farm to table), determining our water footprint, and reporting this data according to international standards was quite complex and time-consuming for us.
Collecting and analyzing this data using traditional methods prevented us from establishing a comprehensive reporting infrastructure that encompassed every stage of our operations. This situation made it difficult to optimize our internal processes and prevented us from transparently presenting our sustainability commitments to our stakeholders.
SOLUTION
Carbon Gate understood the specific needs of the agriculture sector and offered us a tailored solution. The platform allowed us to analyze the carbon and water footprints generated throughout the entire life cycle of our products in detail. We can now easily perform product-based emission analysis and water efficiency analysis for each of our products. This way, we can clearly see the stages where we can reduce emissions and how we can optimize our water usage.

We can now provide reliable and transparent data about the sustainability performance of our products to both consumers and business partners.
